The name Jacktown is inspired by Panruti, a town celebrated for two of its most treasured produce: jackfruit and cashews. Both received the prestigious Geographical Indication (GI) tag in 2025, recognising their unique connection to the region and its heritage.
We started Jacktown with a simple thought: great cashews don’t need a makeover. While many commercial brands chase bigger, brighter and heavily processed nuts, we wanted to bring the spotlight back to what truly matters—authentic taste, careful processing and the natural goodness of Panruti cashews.
